Ag ag

There are a lot of films and tv shows from the past whose whole plot falls apart in a modern technology era.

I cant imagine any child watching The Likely Lads.

Thanks for the spoiler, Sven!

For some reason, I missed the end of that episode, and all these years I've spent avoiding finding out what happened, while hoping to see it again are now wasted...

Fucking hell, sven!

I knew that, but you also might as well tell the youngsters who haven't seen Empire Strikes Back who the Daddy is.

The whole look away now thing comes from that Likely Lads era.

ps In the Likely Lads the England game they wanted to watch the highlights off was postponed

Re: Watching the full match after the game has finished
Years back I used to be in a band that often rehearsed on a Sunday afternoon. Being an F1 fan, I usually tried to avoid the result until I got home to watch the race or highlights.

Despite my best efforts, avoiding the result was almost impossible. Not helped by the TV in the rehearsal room, that you couldn't help but see on the way out, which would usually have Schumacher or Hill holding the trophy up on the podium.

I cant believe that the BBC News still do the 'look away now' thing before MOTD.
If a game has finished the score is fair game.
Entirely inconsistently I believe in NO SPOILERS in regards to first release movies and tv series.

So .... NO
Unless you have no friends or family who follow football and you are prepared to turn your phone and computer off and hide in a darkened room.
